A brick-and-tile-hung house in Ripley needing a complete new roof. With the old covering off, the joists needed correcting before the new roof could go on.
What Shane's team did
The joists were corrected, then Celotex insulation and boarding went in for practicality. High quality breathable membrane and eave supports followed, then treated timber battens and the new rustic red Redland 49 interlocking tiles.
The roof was finished with dry ridge and dry verge systems and new fascia at the gable. Photos show the rafters and membrane mid-job and the finished gable with the scaffold still up.
