Rotten timber fascias let rain into the rafter feet and give birds a way into the loft. Shane fits uPVC fascias and vented or hollow soffits, in white or black, and can add downlights. The Fleet job and a black hollow soffit job show both looks.

With the old boards off, Shane checks the rafter ends and the felt at the eaves, because that is where water damage hides. Rotten ends are repaired, an eave support tray goes in if the felt has sagged, and then the new uPVC fascia, soffit and gutter go up.
On re-roofs he fits new fascias and soffits while the scaffold is up, as on the Woking re-roof in January 2026.

Asked for help about a leak in the roof and once the works started found the roof was in a far worse state than thought. Shane gave me 3 options and talked me through the pros and cons of both. We decided to go for the full roof and I am so glad we did. They worked super fast and it looks amazing, they also reclad our dormers to match the new roof and replaced gutters and soffits. They needed to remove the solar panels to do the work but Shane organised this. There has been a problem with getting them running again but Shane has been very responsive to messages and is fixing the issue.
