Your survey flagged the roof
A surveyor's 'roof needs attention' tells you nothing about the cost. Shane tells you what is wrong and what it costs to fix.
A stain you cannot explain
Find the cause while it is a small repair, before the plaster and insulation are soaked.
Before you sell or after a storm
A clean bill of health, or the repairs priced, so nothing comes up at the last minute.
What Shane checks
Tiles or slates, ridge and hips, verges, valleys, lead flashings, chimney stack, fascias, soffits and gutters, then the loft side: felt, battens, rafters, insulation and ventilation.
You get photos of anything that needs work and a clear price for it. A Sandhurst customer contacted Shane after their new house survey and was told the results promptly, even though they were not at the address.

What a roof inspection turns up
Customers who had Shane check their roof
Fantastic service
Contacted the company following our new house survey. Fantastic communication, very professional, very quick to get the job done, considering I was not at the address I was notified about the results promptly. Will definitely be saving the number for any future roofing needs and highly recommend.
Roof underfelt install and tile replacement
Shane and the team were transparent from start to finish, providing professional recommendations based on experience and as much information up-front as they could. They kept a tidy job site throughout, very respectful of my property and even lent a hand with some DIY that I'd gotten stuck with. All their work was finished to a great standard and they've kept in contact to make sure no issues arose after completion. An easy recommendation for roof work or any other external work/renovations.
New roof, 1920s house
Shane was quick to respond and came round , gave an honest estimate for the work. His guys did the work on schedule and completed everything as described. There was no issues and Shane didn’t let us down…quite rare these days that people actually do what they say they will and don’t screw you over! He really does care that you’re looked after. So a very positive experience and would recommend him to anyone looking for a new roof.
Roof inspection questions
Is the roof inspection free?
Shane's quotes are free and no-obligation. Ask him when you ring if you need a written inspection report for a house purchase, which Checkatrade lists among his services.
Do I need to be at home?
Not for the outside. A Sandhurst buyer was not at the address and Shane sent the results promptly. For the loft, someone needs to let him in.
Will you push me into a new roof?
No. Reviewers say the opposite: Shane gives an honest estimate and has steered customers away from replacements other firms recommended.
