A tiled Woking house whose old roof had reached the end: tired, mossy concrete tiles over failing felt and battens. The photos show the old roof as it came off.
What Shane's team did
The team stripped the old tiles, felt and battens, then laid breathable membrane with eave supports at the gutter line and new treated timber battens. The roof was re-tiled with dry ridge and dry verge systems, so there is no mortar left to crack.
New uPVC fascias and soffits went on while the scaffold was up. The whole job was completed in one day and carries a 25-year guarantee.
